Owen Schaefer is a Canadian writer and poet. Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2013, he lived in Tokyo for fifteen years, where he worked as a writer, proofreader, and editor, as well as arts editor for Tokyo Weekender Magazine. His fiction and poetry have been published in a number of literary journals and anthologies, and he is currently working toward his MFA at the University of British Columbia.
