Owen Schaefer is a Canadian writer and poet. Prior to moving to London in 2019, he lived in Hong Kong for six years and Tokyo for fifteen, working as a content writer, proofreader, and editor. For several years, he also worked as Arts Editor for Tokyo Weekender Magazine. His fiction and poetry have been published in a variety of literary journals and anthologies, and he is currently working toward an MFA at the University of British Columbia.
